Chapter 43
Status from the calendar
On this page
Coviqo can show "In a meeting" automatically while you are in an appointment and restore your status afterwards.
What counts#
- Entries of your connected calendars (Microsoft 365 or Google, see Settings → Connected services) that are marked as busy – not all-day entries and not entries marked as "free" or "working elsewhere".
- Coviqo events and meetings you take part in: your own events, events you accepted, meetings you organise or are invited to (unless you declined).
During such an entry your status becomes Busy and others see "In a meeting until 14:00". If you like, choose Do not disturb during appointments – your status then becomes Focus and calls ring silently.
Settings#
Settings → Connected services → Status from the calendar:
- Set my status automatically – on by default as soon as a calendar is connected.
- Show the title of the entry – others then see "In a meeting: Sprint review". Off by default; people who do not share a space with you never see the title.
- Do not disturb during appointments – Focus instead of Busy.
Your own choice wins#
The calendar only changes your status while you have chosen Online. If you pick a status yourself during an appointment (Busy, Focus, Invisible – or Online to be reachable), the calendar status ends for that appointment. Your custom status text stays visible. Being away from the keyboard does not end it.
The status changes within a minute; appointments from external calendars appear after the next synchronisation (at the latest after five minutes).
