    • NewPhone system with call flows, voice menus and queues

Organisations that connect their own phone provider now get a full phone system for incoming calls: opening hours with holidays, voice menus, call queues with hold music and position announcements, a block list, transfer and consultation. A visual call flow editor decides what happens to every call. Which building blocks you can use depends on your plan – see Phone calls.

    • NewTools for phone teams: missed calls, wallboard, call notes

Phone teams can turn calls into tickets, work through a shared "Missed (team)" list, see who is calling with notes and outcomes, take breaks and after-call time per queue and follow everything on a wallboard. On the Business plan supervisors can listen in or whisper – the agent always sees it, and callers hear a short notice once per call.

    • ImprovedDecisions and meetings can be switched off per room

Decisions and Meetings are now room modules like tasks or files: switch them off in the room settings if a room doesn’t need them. A space can also turn off meetings altogether. Existing decisions and meetings are kept and come back when you switch the module on again.

    • NewDesktop app: headset buttons and call notifications

The Windows desktop app shows incoming phone calls as a system notification with Answer and Decline. From version 1.0.16 the buttons of USB and DECT headsets work in the desktop app too – you pick the headset once in the app’s own dialog. See Phone calls.

    • NewImages, videos and audio play right in the chat

Image attachments now appear as previews – several images as a grid – and open in a large view. Videos and audio files play directly in the message, without autoplay. If you prefer file cards, switch it off under Settings › Appearance › Media in chat.

    • ImprovedScreen shares on maps are easy to find and watch

On a map, a live bar now shows the screen shares of people you can hear. Watch one with a click and shrink it to a picture-in-picture window to keep walking. When you share yourself, a card shows your preview and how many people are watching.

    • NewTask categories and board grouping

Tasks can now have a category such as Feature, Bug or Improvement – rename them or add your own per room. Filter by category, group the board by category, or type "bug: …" in quick add. See Tasks.

    • ImprovedPick sound and quality before you share your screen

The share picker now asks for sound and quality before the share starts. In the Windows desktop app a shared window sends only its own sound by default; you can also choose the whole computer or no sound. See Screen sharing.

    • SecuritySecurity review: tighter permission checks

A review of who may see and change what led to stricter checks across attachments, whiteboards, meetings, invitations, roles and presence – for example, presence no longer reveals voice rooms to people who cannot see them. If you lose your authenticator, you can now switch off two-factor sign-in or renew your recovery codes with a recovery code.

    • NewMaps: tables, portals, emotes, TVs and walls with doors

Maps got many new things to do: sit at a table for a private-ish conversation, follow someone, react with emotes and speech bubbles, walk through portals, watch screen shares on TVs or knock on a closed door with a click. Owners switch each feature on or off per map. See Maps.

    • NewFeed: follow news sources in a room

The new room module Feed follows RSS, Atom and JSON feeds – blogs, release notes, status pages. New posts appear in the room’s Feed tab and, if you like, in the chat. See Feed.

    • NewWeb pages: open your team’s tools inside a room

With the room module Web pages you keep a list of external pages – a dashboard, the project wiki – and open them right inside the room. Organisations can decide which pages are allowed. See Web pages.

    • NewGame clips in the Windows desktop app

Switch on replay clips and the desktop app keeps the last seconds of your game in memory: Alt+F8 saves the moment as a video file on your computer, Alt+F7 records a whole session. Share clips in a room or a direct message afterwards. Off until you switch it on – see Game clips.

    • ImprovedLobbies: "Looking for players" and moving people into sessions

Published sessions with free slots now carry a "Looking for players" badge in the lobby and in Find players. The game field suggests titles while you type, and session leaders and moderators can move people straight into a session. See Lobbies and sessions.

    • NewTickets: a private help desk in any room

The room module Tickets turns a room into a help desk with replies, internal notes, status, assignee, priority, categories with custom fields, canned responses, response times and a rating. A ticket is visible only to the person who opened it, added participants and the room’s support team. See Tickets.

    • NewNative screen sharing with your graphics card in the desktop app

The Windows desktop app now captures your screen with its own native capture and encodes with your graphics card’s hardware encoder. Shares stay smooth while a game has the focus and barely slow your computer down. It is the default; you can switch back under Settings › Audio & video › Advanced.

    • NewThe User Guide is now on the website

The complete User Guide can now be read on the website, chapter by chapter, and downloaded as a PDF.

    • ImprovedSearch in settings and simple notification presets

A search field at the top of the settings jumps straight to the right card. Notifications start from a preset – All, Important (recommended), Only mentions & DMs – and the full table is there when you choose Custom. See Notifications.

    • NewMusic in voice rooms and a queue for watch together

Play music together in a voice room from video and music links or the space’s own audio files – with a shared queue, shuffle, repeat and vote skip. The music gets quieter while someone speaks. Watch together has a video queue too.

    • NewCalls page and your own phone numbers

The new Calls page brings app calls and phone calls together in one history, with favourites and a badge for missed calls. Organisations can connect their own SIP provider and receive calls on their own numbers, including a mailbox. See Calls and Telephony.

    • NewMaps: a virtual office with spatial audio

Map is a new room type with a 2D map: walk around as an avatar and hear the people near you – the closer, the louder. Start from the Office, Community lounge or Event hall template, or build your own in the editor. See Map rooms.

    • NewAsk the space: answers with sources

Ask a question in plain language – "What did we decide about the budget?" – and the AI answers in a few sentences with a source for every sentence. It only uses content you are allowed to see and runs on Coviqo’s own servers in the EU. See Ask the space.

    • NewMeetings: live streaming, drawing, presentation mode, interpretation

Stream meetings and webinars live to your own RTMP destination, draw together on a shared screen, show your camera inside your screen share, and let listeners pick an interpreted language – also as machine interpretation. Availability depends on the plan; see Live streaming and interpretation.

    • NewMeeting results: PDF report, voice commands, follow-ups

Download a meeting as one PDF report with summary, decisions and tasks. Hosts can capture notes and tasks by voice ("Coviqo, note: …"), agenda items get time budgets, and after the meeting Coviqo suggests follow-up actions – nothing happens until you accept it.

    • ImprovedRecordings you can’t miss

When a recording or live stream starts, everyone sees a red banner with who started it and when, the tab title shows REC, and all microphones except the starter’s are muted by default. People who join later choose to join with the microphone off.

    • NewA separate identity in every space

One account, a different name, picture, pronouns and status per space – for example your full name at work and your gamer tag in your community. Other spaces never see the identity you use elsewhere. See Identities and worlds.

    • NewVideo messages with transcript and chapters

Record a video message with your camera, your screen or both right in the chat. Recipients get captions, a clickable transcript and AI chapters with a short summary, and can reply at a specific moment. See Threads, voice messages and reminders.

    • NewPrivacy cockpit: see what Coviqo knows about you

Settings › Privacy & my data › Privacy cockpit shows where your data lives, which AI processing touched it, which exports, recordings and transcripts include you, and your consents – without any content. From there you can export your data or ask the creator of a recording to delete it. See Privacy.
